Hello, I'm Daneen Meissner, the Co-Owner of Mind Shift Wellness Bed & Breakfast, and I am delighted to welcome you to my beautiful home. This four-story residence was explicitly purchased to serve as a wellness retreat and bed & breakfast, designed to inspire individuals to embark on their self-care journey.
At Mind Shift, we offer simple strategies and mindset shifts that help you tune into your body, recognizing when you are nurturing your well-being and when you may be causing it.

My teaching techniques stem from my experiences studying yoga therapy at the Vendansha Institute of Vedic Science and Alternative Medicine in Rishikesh, India, and my personal healing journey under the care of Phoebe Purnell of Oriental Wellness. I also credit my long-term Spiritual Advisor, Arlene Rowden, of Wisconsin Reiki, and the teachings of Dr. Dain Herr of Access Consciousness.
Our locally sourced and prepared meals emphasize an organic, whole-food approach, believing moderation is vital to a balanced lifestyle. However, we also cater to guests with food allergies or preferences, ensuring everyone feels welcome and supported.
Our ultimate goal is to empower our guests with simple and practical strategies for living healthier, longer lives, focusing on mobility, strength, and resilience.
